Attentive, Who we are and what we do!

A sensory-friendly clothing brand to make people proud of who they are.

Whilst helping to spread awareness of Neurodiversity.

Attentive was founded in 2022. Chris, the brand owner, struggled throughout his life, feeling like he didn't fit in. Problems with addiction, relationships, social situations, and the list goes on.

After years of counselling, anger management, antidepressants, and slowly losing hope, he was diagnosed with ADHD at 29. Chris started on medication which has given him a new outlook on life. It has opened his eyes to endless possibilities. He wants to create a positive message and show that having ADHD or any other neurodiverse condition is nothing to be ashamed of and can be a blessing.

As expressed through his clothing, he wants to show off that seeing in only black or white is not a bad thing. Hence, the black and white brain is prominent in the centre of most of the garments.

It gives you great strength to achieve whatever you want in life. ADHD is not an excuse and should never be, but it's why your brain and body react in specific ways and situations. There are no limits to what you can achieve, whether you have a neurodiverse or neurotypical brain.

A small but monumental meaning behind the logo; it's not screaming Neurodiversity with huge print, and it doesn't stand out too much. But the logo alone speaks volumes, and people who know, know what it means and stands for.

Each item of clothing is carefully designed to be both stylish and practical but also sensory-friendly. With soft, high-quality materials, no flapping labels or rough stitching. Clothing with small minimalistic logos but with a monumental meaning! Everyday wear, whether that be lounging at home, but also fashionable to be worn for everyday use. And its practical side is also suitable for fitness or outdoor hobbies. With no worries about rough materials or annoying labels so you can enjoy your day without the stress of your clothes irritating you. People with neurodiverse conditions need to limit the number of stressors in their daily life; clothing is a massive part of this, one less thing to worry about when you wear attention.

Attentive is also a network, a way of noticing other people wearing the brand and understanding and realising you are not the only one with problems. Being neurodiverse, you can feel alone in your feelings. Noticing someone else wearing Attentive could also be helpful for making new friends with similar conditions, again because Neurodiverse people can struggle in social situations.

Don't just say you are proud, Wear your neurodiversity Pride!
