Right To Choose
Adult ADHD Assessments
The Right to Choose is an NHS policy in England that allows patients who have to wait over 18 weeks to be seen by an NHS service to have more control over where they receive treatment, including ADHD assessments.
This allows you to bypass the long NHS waiting lists by choosing an approved provider for your assessment and care, including some private providers. The NHS covers the cost, which can significantly reduce waiting times for an ADHD diagnosis.
Right to Choose Discovery Call
If you've been quietly wondering whether ADHD might explain some of your life experiences.
You're not alone.
Many adults reach this point after years of feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or frustrated with themselves. Perhaps your GP has mentioned the Right to Choose pathway, and now you're left with more questions than answers.
This discovery call is a calm, supportive space to talk through your concerns
Together, we'll explore the patterns you have noticed, clarify what the Right to Choose process involves, and gently consider whether pursuing an ADHD assessment feels like the right next step for you.
This isn't an assessment. There's no pressure and no judgment.
It's simply an opportunity to gain clarity and feel more confident about your decision.
As more GPs are now signposting patients to contact me directly, these calls are offered as dedicated professional consultations, ensuring each person receives the time and attention they deserve.
If you're looking for reassurance, understanding, and clear guidance, this is a thoughtful place to start.
You will also receive a follow-up email with all the information discussed and referral documents you can take back to your GP for an informed referral pathway for your ADHD assessment.
