  • 4 Week Coaching Plan

    Strategy & Planning Session Overview: In this session, we will delve into your unique ADHD Life Skills, examining them together to understand your strengths and challenges. We'll identify the most significant aspects of ADHD that you feel impact your career and home life. Our focus will then shift to your goals. We will discuss what you aim to achieve in the next month and determine the initial areas you want to concentrate on in our coaching sessions. Example of Discussion Topics: Exploring Challenges: We'll thoroughly investigate the challenges you face at work and home. Self-Awareness and Strengths: Developing a deeper understanding of your strengths and building self-awareness. Reducing Overwhelm: Explore your triggers, which may be causing you to feel overwhelmed, and find ways to reduce your overwhelm. Core Values Identification: Collaboratively identifying your core values. Overcoming Limiting Beliefs: Recognising and addressing limiting beliefs that may hinder your progress. Organisational and Prioritisation Skills: Developing practical organisational and prioritisation skills. Time Management and Procrastination: Strategies to manage time efficiently and overcome procrastination. Working with your Targets: Establishing and working towards achievable targets you want to achieve. Post-Session Updates: Provide email updates, share resources, recap, and accountability after each session. You will lead each coaching session, focusing on the topics that matter most to you. Week 2: Executive Functioning and ADHD Creating Structure That Works For You In A World Of Distractions ​Understand executive functioning challenges (e.g., memory, focus, task initiation, planning, organisation, self-regulation) and their impact on daily life. Week 3: Time Management and Planning Because "At The Last Minute" Was Not Meant To Be A Lifestyle! ​Time management, planning difficulties, and procrastination in adults with ADHD. Week 4: Emotional Regulation and Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) For Those Moments When Small Remarks Hit Like Big Waves Emotional regulation challenges in ADHD include rejection sensitivity, mood swings, and emotional overwhelm.     Private sessions with Bernadette to ask any question or complete your online Access to Work application form live online. What is an Access to Work application? Access to Work can help you get or stay in Work if you have a physical or mental health condition or disability. The support you get will depend on your needs. Through Access to Work, you can apply for a grant to help pay for practical support with your Work. The session will cover the following: * Covering how your ADHD symptoms affect you in your life and workplace * What you are looking for funding for, e.g. Equipment, ADHD Coaching, Admin Support/Support worker * Discussion about what you already have in place to support you * What reasonable adjustments you may need in place at Work. * Completing your online application form. You can choose to book a 20 min or 45 minuet session.
