1. Purpose
ADHD Lancashire is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in all aspects of its work. This policy applies to all employees, volunteers, service users, and external stakeholders associated with ADHD Lancashire. It encompasses our services, recruitment practices, workplace culture, and community engagement. We are committed to removing barriers to participation and ensuring that our policies, procedures, and practices are fair, transparent, and accessible.

5. Responsibilities

Leadership & Management: Ensure the implementation and monitoring of EDI practices, actively promote an inclusive culture and promptly address any concerns.

Employees & Volunteers: Uphold and promote EDI principles in daily interactions, report any concerns or discriminatory behaviour, and engage in EDI training as required.

Service Users & Stakeholders: Respect and adhere to the EDI values of ADHD Lancashire, providing constructive feedback to help improve inclusivity.
6. Reporting & Complaints
Any concerns related to discrimination, harassment, or exclusion should be reported to Bernadette Ashton. ADHD Lancashire is committed to handling all complaints sensitively, confidentially, and in line with our grievance procedure. We will ensure that individuals raising concerns are protected from victimisation or retaliation. External mediation or legal advice will be sought to ensure a fair resolution where necessary.
7. Review & Monitoring
We will review this policy annually to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. We will collect data on EDI performance, consult stakeholders for feedback, and make necessary adjustments. Progress and updates will be shared with employees and volunteers to maintain transparency.
