Living With Adult ADHD Weekly Course Topics: Week 1: Understanding ADHD in Adulthood Finally, Explaining All Those "Quirks" You Thought Were Just Personality ADHD symptoms, types, and how they present differently in adults. Discuss the experience of late diagnosis and its emotional impacts. Week 2: Executive Functioning and ADHD Creating Structure That Works For You In A World Of Distractions ​Understand executive functioning challenges (e.g., memory, focus, task initiation, planning, organisation, self-regulation) and their impact on daily life. Week 3: Time Management and Planning Because "At The Last Minute" Was Not Meant To Be A Lifestyle! ​Time management, planning difficulties, and procrastination in adults with ADHD. Week 4: Emotional Regulation and Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) For Those Moments When Small Remarks Hit Like Big Waves Emotional regulation challenges in ADHD include rejection sensitivity, mood swings, and emotional overwhelm. Week 5: Developing Healthy Routines and Self-Care Creating Habits That Lift You, Not Wear You Out Introduce healthy routines for sleep, exercise, nutrition, and stress management, with a focus on ADHD-friendly habits. Week 6: Understanding Medication and Treatment Options Medication Alone Isn't the Solution—Skills Build Lasting Change Information on ADHD treatment options, including medication, therapy, ADHD Coaching and lifestyle adjustments. Week 7: Building Self-Esteem and Self-Compassion Transforming Self-Doubt Into Self-Worth Exploring the impact of ADHD on self-esteem and strategies to build self-compassion and a positive self-image. Week 8: Enhancing Communication and Interpersonal Relationships Moving From Misinterpretations to Understanding Situations, Conversations and Connections Develop communication and relationship skills, focusing on listening, setting boundaries, and recognising impulsivity & empathy. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This detailed weekly structure will empower you to build knowledge, strengthen self-management skills, and cultivate self-compassion in a supportive, step-by-step learning environment. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy for the Adult ADHD Course: Payment: A deposit of £96 is payable upon booking. We will send the remaining £300 before the course starting. The Adult ADHD Course must be paid for before the course commences, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon. If you would like to set up a payment plan, email bernadette@adhdlancashire.com Course Structure: The complete course consists of eight weekly sessions. Punctuality: Sessions will commence promptly at the scheduled time. Participants are encouraged to join punctually to ensure they benefit from each session.
