Service Description

Access to Work-Funded ADHD Coaching Personalised workplace ADHD coaching gives you time and space to understand how ADHD affects you at work, explore current challenges and develop practical approaches that suit your individual role, responsibilities and working environment. Your coaching sessions will be arranged in line with the support and number of hours approved in your Access to Work funding award. Your award must be in place and include ADHD coaching before you register for funded coaching sessions. You will lead each session, choosing the workplace topics and goals that are most important to you. I coach the person, not just the problem, so your sessions will be shaped around your needs, strengths and circumstances. During your first session, we will explore how ADHD affects you in the workplace and begin identifying your strengths, current challenges and priorities. We will discuss your role, working environment and the areas in which you would most value support. Together, we will identify an initial focus for your coaching and consider the changes you would like to work towards. Topics We May Explore Understanding how ADHD affects you at work Managing workload, competing priorities and deadlines Developing practical organisation and planning approaches Improving time awareness and managing procrastination Identifying triggers for overwhelm and reducing burnout Managing distractions and sustaining attention Building confidence and recognising your strengths Developing communication and self-advocacy skills Establishing boundaries and managing expectations Preparing for meetings, difficult conversations or changes at work Exploring reasonable adjustments that may support you Setting realistic goals and identifying achievable next steps These are examples rather than a fixed curriculum. Your coaching will focus on the workplace challenges, goals and changes that feel most relevant to you. Following each session, you will receive an email summary that may include: The key points from our conversation The actions or next steps you have chosen Relevant resources Invoicing and Payment An invoice will be issued on the day of each coaching session. You are responsible for paying the invoice directly unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in advance with your employer or Access to Work. You can then follow the claiming arrangements set out in your Access to Work award.
