ABOUT ADHD LANCASHIRE & FOUNDER BERNADETTE ASHTON

Hi, I'm Bernadette Ashton, PCC, a Certified ADHD Life Coach, author and founder of ADHD Lancashire.
Since founding ADHD Lancashire in 2011, I have supported adults, families, and professionals through ADHD coaching, live online programmes, support groups, practical resources, and guidance on assessment and workplace support.
Based in Lancashire, I support adults locally and online throughout the UK.
Many people come to me feeling overwhelmed, frustrated or unsure where to turn next. I provide a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can gain clarity, explore your options and discover practical ways forward.
My mission has always been the same:
To help people feel understood, supported, and less alone.

The thing I feel most proud of isn't just the number of people I have supported. It's hearing someone say:
" You make me feel seen, truly understood, and you get me."
Why I Founded ADHD Lancashire
When I founded ADHD Lancashire in 2011, I saw how many adults and families struggled to find support, reliable information, and people who truly understood their experiences.
Many felt isolated. Some were navigating a long waiting list, while others were trying to make sense of a new diagnosis or supporting a loved one with ADHD.
I wanted to create a welcoming, supportive community where people could access information, ask questions and feel supported without judgement.
What started as a small group has grown into a community that supports adults, parents and professionals across Lancashire and beyond.
Today, ADHD Lancashire provides adult ADHD coaching, live online programmes, local and online support groups, practical resources, Access to Work guidance and information about ADHD assessment pathways.
From our Lancashire base, we have supported adults across the UK since 2013 to better understand how ADHD affects them and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
