Adult ADHD Meet-ups & Community Feedback

You Are Not Alone
Real experiences from people attending our online and in-person adult ADHD meet-ups.
Every month, adults join our online ADHD meet-ups across the UK and our in-person meet-ups in Chorley, Lancashire.
Some are newly exploring ADHD. Some are awaiting assessment. Others have been diagnosed for years.
They come for connection, understanding and practical support, and many tell us afterwards:
"I wish I had found this group sooner"

What Our Community Says
Real Experiences from Our Meet-Ups and Events
“I enjoy attending the ADHD meetups because I have found a group of people who get me.
Hearing other people's stories has made me feel less alone in the world.”
Sam- Group Member, Wigan
"I've attended an online ADHD support group with ADHD Lancashire with a guest speaker. This was excellent!
I felt as though I had found other people who were very similar to me. I also found the speaker really informative and interesting."
Chantel - Group Member, Lancashire
"I'm really enjoying the socials and meeting other neurodiverse people.
It's been absolutely invaluable to share our stories and learn from each other. Even though it's early days for me,
I don't think I could suggest any improvements to the meet-ups. Thank you!"
Matt - Group Member, Cumbria
"It was so good to get my questions answered by the psychiatrist doctor who was a guest speaker at your Zoom meet-up the other week. It was great to hear other people's questions, too.
And you know what? Even though I'd actually had a tough week and didn't initially feel like logging on, I'm so glad I did, because I felt like I wasn't alone! It's so reassuring to be understood!"
Helen- Group Member, Manchester
It’s great to socialise with like-minded people. We can keep up to date with information.
Bernadette has been very supportive, understanding and helpful.
Damion- Group Member, Lancashire
Inspiration from others. The word "acceptance" was used by someone who has resonated hugely... and since the meeting last night, it's led me to set up The Bucket List Community Cafe Facebook group, because that's the real me, and I want to find my tribe.
It’s genuinely the best 90 minutes of my month
Sarah - Group Member, West Sussex
"So glad I finally attended this online group session..... I felt seen and understood, being with a group of people who have been through similar experiences. The guest speaker was really inspiring, and I resonated so much with his story.
I need to meaningfully connect with people like me more often, and I can't wait for the next one!"
Emma - Group Member, Lancashire
"I love the monthly Zoom meet-ups; it's such a gift to be part of a community that 'gets it.'
I can't recommend Bernadette highly enough;
her knowledge and lived experience are a true light for anyone navigating ADHD and for me, navigating it later in life."
Paula - Group Member, Merseyside
