About the Event
Adult ADHD Social Meet-Up in Lancashire
Connect • Share • Belong
Our monthly face-to-face Adult ADHD Meet-Up offers a friendly, relaxed and supportive space to connect with others who understand the everyday realities of ADHD.
Whether you have a confirmed diagnosis, are waiting for an assessment, are beginning to explore the possibility of ADHD, or have been living with ADHD for many years, you are welcome to join us. Partners are welcome too.
There is no expectation to share or participate in any particular way. Come along, join the conversation, ask questions, share experiences—or simply listen and enjoy being around people who understand.
Why come along?
Connecting with other adults with ADHD can make a real difference. Sometimes, simply meeting people who recognise the experiences you have struggled to explain can bring a sense of understanding, connection and belonging.
Our meet-ups provide an opportunity to talk openly about the challenges and positives of living with ADHD. Conversations might include work, relationships, organisation, time management, emotional regulation, diagnosis, medication, family life, or whatever happens to be important to the group that month,
But our meet-ups aren't all about ADHD challenges. They're also about meeting people, having a chat, sharing a laugh and building connections.
Over time, people often get to know familiar faces and develop friendships. For someone who may have spent years feeling different or misunderstood, finding a community where they can simply be themselves can be particularly valuable.
13 Years of Making Positive Connections
Our adult meet-ups have now been bringing people together for 13 years, creating opportunities for connection, conversation, understanding and support within the ADHD community.
Where do we meet?
Our monthly meet-up takes place at The Halfway House, Preston Road, Chorley, on the third Thursday of every month.
We currently meet in the Function Room, located at the side of the restaurant. When you arrive, please ask a member of staff for the Function Room.
Places are limited, so please reserve your place in advance.
Come along, meet others and be part of a community that understands.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Warm regards,
