About ADHD

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterised by three main symptoms: hyperactivity, impulsive behaviour, and difficulty paying attention to detail. ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders that affect young children. ADHD is a condition that is commonly diagnosed in childhood and is likely to last into adulthood. People with ADHD have symptoms that can interfere with their ability to function properly in their day-to-day activities. ADHD is more common in males than females, and females with ADHD are more likely to have problems primarily with inattention.

Other conditions, such as learning disabilities, Anxiety disorders, Dyslexia, Tourettes, Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, Conduct Disorders, Depression, and substance abuse are common in people with ADHD.
